
Stephan Lethaus is an author, creative producer, and storyteller based in Berlin. Born in 1971 in Haan and father of two sons, Stephan brings over 25 years of experience in the media industry.
As an artist with hands-on production expertise, he combines creative flair, technical know-how, and business acumen. This unique blend enables him to lead projects from both a strategic and a practitioner’s perspective.
Throughout his career, Stephan has held key positions in animation and production. His ten-year tenure as founder and managing director of an animation studio resulted in high-quality productions that continue to air on children’s television today. As Creative Producer for ZDF children’s programming and S-RTL, he developed content that is both engaging and educational.

In 2011, he realized his vision of a child-friendly, ad-free, and safe social network by founding Human Interface Network GmbH and launching the project “melmao – Echte Freunde.”
Since 2015, Stephan has been working as a freelance line producer and producer for international animation projects. In 2016, he published his first fantasy novel, “The Magical Legacy of the Ryūjin,” showcasing his versatility as a writer and storyteller.
Today, he continues his work as Head of Production at Wolkenlenker GmbH, where he joined in 2018. In every project, he brings:
